- Daylily Plant Sale at the Abbeville LA Daylily Festival 2008
Saturday, May 31, 2008 Our club will have a large covered booth selling bare root daylilies to benefit the club. Locally grown by our members, these plants have been proven to grow in the South Louisiana area. Members will be on hand for questions and to offer tips on growing. Center of town starting about 9am. Make a day of it!

- Photography Workshop and Contest
Get out your cameras!
Digital or film - all are welcome. In January 2008 we had an informal workshop focusing on photographing the garden and daylily blooms. Then everyone is encouraged to make images all spring and summer and then submit entries to be "gently" judged in the fall. - Region 13 Annual Meeting 2008
